Summer is the perfect time for making memories! ☀️🌼

Summer has always been my favourite season. There’s something magical about the long, warm days and the vibrant colours that make it the perfect time for creating and capturing beautiful memories. This year, I had the pleasure of kicking off the season with one of my favourite photo shoots at West Wycombe Pre-School.

Being welcomed back each year to document the children as they grow is such a heartwarming experience. The little ones I started photographing a few years ago are now preparing for big school, and it’s incredible to see the next generation, who were once babes in arms, eagerly awaiting their start date at the preschool. It’s a wonderful reminder of how quickly time flies and how important it is to capture these fleeting moments.

The setting at West Wycombe Pre-School was lush and green, a perfect backdrop for our session. The children were thrilled to be outside, enjoying the fresh air and the beauty of nature. This year, I chose a romantic black-and-white style for some of the photos, which added a timeless quality to the images. A charming little bench from the preschool garden set the scene perfectly, and the children’s creativity brought it to life. They insisted on posing with the wild daisies growing near our shoot area, adding a touch of whimsy and innocence to the photos. One little girl touched my heart when she selected a daisy and said, “This one is for my mummy 💖.”
